Welcome to the Hackett School of Irish Dancing! We are a small and very friendly dance school who are based in Bexley,Eltham, Bexleyheath and Sidcup. We LOVE to dance! We take part in feisanna, exhibitions, ceili, fund raising events. Whether you want to join us for serious dancing in competitions, or just for fun and keeping fit, come 'inside' to find out more!
The Hackett School of Irish Dancing was formed by Tara in 1996. She began dancing at the age of 7, following her mother in this family tradition. Tara sat for her TCRG exams in Dublin at the age of 21, and passed with flying colours. Her dance school started with just six pupils, including one adult.Now there are around 50 pupils, some of whom take part in feisanna, some in exhibitions, and some just for the joy of dancing!
